The 1001 Critical Days Cross-Party Campaign was founded by Andrea Leadsom, MP for South Northamptonshire. It brought together for the first time politicians from across the political spectrum to acknowledge the importance of the first 1001 critical days in a baby’s life, from conception until the age of two. The manifesto that was created as part of the campaign has widespread support from the Chief Medical Officer, numerous Royal Colleges and over 100 leading child and family, health, education and social care organisations from across the UK. We are proud to be members of this movement and have pledged our support to the manifesto.
